Keno is one of those games you either have knowledge of or you don’t. It’s basically seen as a lotto in the casino. Similar to the lotto, the game consists of numbered balls being drawn. The goal is to select the numbers that will be drawn. The game of Keno can be either quick or slow based on the casino. By wagering on Keno on the web you can control the pace of the game. Personally, I prefer real life keno. You hang out in a lounge, if you wish, and play. Keno is a game that you do not need to be in the lounge to participate and be a winner. For instance, you could put in a ticket for twenty games and then go gamble on something else in the casino or even your suite if you are staying in the casino.

Keno Board

The game is played on a game board. The Keno game board is made up of eighty numbers total – number 1 to eighty. The first 40 are referred to as the top half and the 2nd forty are called the bottom half.

Competing in Keno

Each game of Keno plays out in the same manner. The round begins, and twenty numbers are drawn. They may be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are blown up and picked, exactly like the lotto on television. Other casinos use computers. If a number you checked is chosen, that’s referred to as a "hit." When all twenty numbers are selected, the round finishes and winning tickets are cashed-in.

There is an abundance of choices in the game of Keno. For instance, you may pick a single number, two numbers and so on up to twenty numbers. Typically, you need to hit most of your numbers to win anything. For example, if you choose six numbers, you will usually need to hit 3 to get your cash back.

Keno Payouts

The pay outs in Keno are fairly decent. The odds of coming away with a win will be dependent on the total numbers picked. For instance, if you select 2 numbers, you will have a six percent probability of hitting your ticket. Every casino’s Keno department has their own payouts. If you are playing online, make sure you shop all over for the biggest pay outs first.
