Keno is a game of chance with a rich and illustrious past. The game that we know and love has undergone remarkable changes since its initial appearance. Gaming chroniclers have followed its history as far back as 200 Before Christ to a Chinese form of diversion referred to as ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It is a well-documented fact that a variation of keno was played in a bingo-like configuration on the eastern seaboard right about the time of the huge Chinese immigration at the time of the gold rush.

In its current form, keno is something like bingo in that both games are based upon numbers. A single keno card is printed with eighty numbers and the player can select as many as he or she would like. This is completed by marking them using a pen. After the player has checked off the numbers, he/she has to bring the card back to the nice person at the keno booth. The clerk will then provide a slip after recording the gambler’s numbers. It is up to the player to redeem any winning card before the next round starts, so stragglers must remain alert.

Now that we’ve reviewed some of of keno’s appealing background and basic facts of game play, you are most likely chomping at the bit to discover where you can wager on keno on the internet. And that is just a reasonable thing for an avid keno gambler. Be assured you have many choices to choose from when it is time for some serious internet keno fun with all the fervor you aspire to.
